Worth researching more:

Pycnogenol is a compound of natural chemicals. It comes from the bark of a European pine tree. Pycnogenol is thought to be an antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage.
Pycnogenol is the registered trademark name for a French formula.

I've made pine needle tea while camping once. Let's face it. If this were a tasty drink it would be sold in the stores.

It's not so much for taste as it is for a Vitamin C source. Especially if you can't get it anywhere else. Very important to know to avoid Scurvy. It also has other health benefits.

Who, in modern days, is deficient in vitamin C?

In a SHTF situation it may very well be you. Unless you want all your teeth to fall out.

And besides, Vitamin C is much more than just ascorbic acid.

When the SHTF I'll drink the tea. I'll also strip and eat the inner bark off the trees.

But until then, there are drops and gummies to deliver my Vit C. And they're tasty too.
