This is going to sound like I work for them, but if you have not tried this on your steaks, you must. I don't however use it for my Prime Steaks anymore but for Choice cuts, it is magic. Everyone I have turned on to this stuff still thank me to this day.

Yeah its good. I get mine from Costco, HUGE bottle. I also use several other different types of dry rub seasonings including home made. Montreal is good when you want that classic steak house flavor.

YAY Montreal!!!!!
I was born and bred in Montreal. When I moved to Connecticut six or so years ago, I got a huge kick out of people calling it "Montreal Steak Spice" because we just called it "steak spice." Seriously, there was no "Montreal" on the label back home.
It reminds me of the joke: What do Chinese people call "Chinese food"? They call it "food."
Anyway, I'm thrilled that my hometown could you provide you with such happiness.
We have a local Spice company over 100 years old. We get all our spices from them as they are also sold all over Texas! I think we've had what the op mentioned but apparently weren't excited with it! This company makes something called Uncle Chris's steak seasoning. I'll season my steaks myself ....don't care for the generically salty combos!
