I think it does depend if you can do without the mayo. If you're going to load it down with greasy mayo you might as well eat a burger.

Alot of their healthier choices give you alot of vegetable even with a little mayo. So they are lot better than animal fat burgers overall.

I still can't help getting a roast beef with light mayo, you know..... TOO yummy for my taste buds to pass up.

Hmmmmmm. I guess you could say I'm a bit of an indulger.

It's healthier than most other fast food options. But you can make a better sandwich that is healthier and cheaper at home.

Subway should go organic.

Carbohydrates are needed by our body, people just started thinking down on them with the whole Adkins Diet thing, which IS NOT healthy. I did it a couple of years ago & dang near lost my eyesight...horrible.

I always get wheat bread when I eat at Subway. Along with turkey breast, spinach, provolone cheese, onion, olives, salt & pepper & a squirt of mayo.

The most damage is the cheese & mayo & even they are "unhealthy" as long as it is not excessive.

As one of my teen-age friends says: "It beats deep-fried lard"
(from the burger places).
Some teen-agers have a brain.

I don't think it will hurt you, but it's not exactly health food. That much of any refined flour product is not good for you overall. I'd avoid the bread before the mayo.

Bread is not your enemy! Everything is to be taken in within reason. The food pyramid actually has some validity to it, believe it or not.
