I eat them (or make croutons with them) but only afterb I've eaten the rest of the loaf. Also sometimes give them to my toddler who loves to munch on frozen bread for some reason (I keep my bread in the freezer)

When I was a child someone made the mistake of telling me, "Crust gives you curly hair." I had naturally curly hair and hated it, to the point where the outer crust had to removed from the bread before I would bite into a sandwich. As an adult, I enjoy the crust on a French baggette or a loaf of Italian bread, in spite of my curly hair
I was told the same thing! And I had curly hair already, too. I don't think I ate crust on bread until I was ten.
