Back in Ohio I liked the chocolate shakes at United Dairy Farmers, also liked Ritters when I lived near Beavercreek Ohio. Here in Illinois my husband drools over Oberweiss Dairy but I haven't had it yet. I do buy the FULL FAT PREMIUM ICE CREAM for him though and he loves that too. I have trouble with lactose intolerance now that I'm older - and I enjoy an occasional Dairy Queen chocolate shake (no cream or cherry) or a plain vanilla cone. Yummmmm.....
my wife came home the other night raving about some orange cream shake that burger king had. i have yet to try one. i had a brownie batter shake from Zaxby's yesterday. It was rather runny and nothing at all like i expected a shake with that name to taste like. Therefore i wasnt impressed.

Oh I love Ritters too. We had one near us in Houston. They had the best frozen custard I've ever eaten.
I make my own banana shakes serves 2 people
2 cups lowfat milk
2 bananas
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp splenda
Ice cubes
Blend all togther in a blender until thick and smooth.
we also enjoy steak and shake milkshakes. Not their food, however.
Steak 'n Shake has great breakfasts but in this area almost all of them have terrible service.
