Why??? A house without bacon is a shell with no soul...
I wish I could keep it around the house... truth is it gives me a migraine... I have food triggers and unfortunately bacon is one ...But I will risk it when I go OUT to breakfast... I would be too tempted to eat it if it were in the house...

Each Have Their Own Place
I love bacon (and, of course, who doesn't?). And I love chocolate.
But they wouldn't make a great married couple. Sorry. It's like putting peanut butter on liver, or ketchup on spinach, or grape jam on hamburgers, or cream gravy on peanut candy, or ........
Sweetness on meat, many of us know and love. Many people love pineapple & canadian bacon pizzas. Bacon lover that I am, I regularly bought maple cured bacon any time it was on sale. It has a very nice depth of flavor and it reminded me of pancake breakfasts where sometimes the bacon got a little wet from the real maple syrup. I'm sure many of us who eat bacon, have also had baked ham with any number of sweet sauces to flavor it - from raisin, orange, to pineapple and other such. If you prepare Mexican foods at home or love to go out for it, you'll also realize that some types of mole sauce have chocolate added, which gives a wonderful depth of flavor although these are not sweet but have much blending of flavors.
So to chocolate bacon, bravo! I haven't bought a commercial bacon candy for myself yet (I have given it as gifts and the reactions have consistently been of addicted amazement), but it is on my agenda.
But I know the flavors work. I have had sit down breakfasts that included bacon, eggs or pancakes and a sometimes a chocolate chip cookie or Tim Tam on a plate next to my coffee. A nibble of cookie and a nibble of bacon don't give the same texture, but you become familiar with the 'marriage'. So at least for me, I know that the flavors of bacon and chocolate with sweetness work together and they do so quite well.
I went on vacation last year to Niagara falls. My son and I bought two rather weird sounding snacks, gotta buy weird stuff while on vacation, and we both liked the chocolate covered bacon. I don't remember what the other one was, but it really doesn't matter because it wasn't very good.

When something nasty is mentioned, somebody's always got to group the "grape jam on a burger" in there with it don't they........huh
