...does it make you crave a certain kind of food? This happens to me all the time when I watch the food network, and andrew zimmern, it makes me crave a desert or dinner right after I have 4 pancakes loaded with syrup on it. Does this happen to you? Infact, just thinking about it, is making me hungry, and plus its dinner time.

Actually it's the opposite for me

I see how these chefs prepare the food and mix all these ingredients together I get sick and totally turned off thinking about it. They mix milk, cheeses, meats and god knows what else together no good.

The only food I crave when I see it on tv shows is meat. Nothing against desserts, fruit, pasta of whatever, but show a knife cutting into something juicy just off the grill, and I turn into Pavlov's dog

When I'm home in the afternoon, I watch Anthony Bordain or Andrew Zimmerman. Very seldom do they eat anything I think I'm going to be wanting. Like worms and goat nuts....to mention a few.

Good point, GloryB. How can Zimmern make people hungry? Entertained, yes, hungry, NO!

Other food shows sometimes start a specific craving, but not always.

Every time I watch Paula Deen's show my mouth waters. She always cooks those southern style meals like my grandmother used to make and that I miss so much!

These shows always make me hungry, sometimes for what they are cooking, sometimes for something else, but they always make me hungry!
