I agree that the fresh are the best. In a pinch, Chipotle tortilla chips are good, especially with the lime-salt they use on them. Other than that I really only like them in restaurants, since they're warm and toasty. The store bought kind are okay, but disappoint when you have had the real, fresh kind.
Generally, freshly-made tortillas are still the bomb, whether they're corn or flour. There's nothing else like that in Texas. If I ever shop for tortillas, it's either Mission or Tia Rosa.
