Maybe Paula is playing it up a little for TV...
Colddiamond where ya been lately?
My boyfriend was home this past weekend, and finals are coming up at school.
I'll be so happy for Christmas Break its not funny. Now if only I can get past the day before Thanksgiving at work (which is Black Friday to a grocery store) I'll be good.
I am very impressed with Gordon Ramsay after his program Kitchen Nightmares. Totally changed my opinion of him since Hell's Kitchen. And I reall enjoy Lynne Rossetto Kasper's public radio program The Splendid Table.
- Alton Brown. I get a dose of education in the process. His show has a wacky sense of humor that's usually cool.
- Tyler Florence. Liked Food-911 and his other shows are well done.
- Ina Garten. Wife loves her. Down to earth, good info.
- Doorknock Dinners used to be fun.
Not so fond of these:
- Paula Deen. That cackle is gross. Her sons have NO talent at all and their phony road show was insipidly lame.
- George Hirsch. Used to see his grilling show. Every other word was "nice" as in put your nice shrimp on the nice fire. Ugh.
- Rachel Ray. She's a gorgeous hottie, but just too energetic and loud.
- Bobby Flay. Yes, he's good at what he does, but when he had a show of visiting other kitchens, he'd eat something great but hardly ever show any appreciation. I wanted to hold a bake sale so we could buy him a personality.
- Emeril. Burned out on the bam, garlic and feel the love gimmicks.
- I don't care for shows with hokey drama, like Dinner Impossible or Iron Chef.
I've never seen a funny side of RR-only major annoyance.
