Betty Crocker cake mixes aren't too fake tasting, but you'll never get me to eat frosting out of a can.
I think angel cake mix is just as good as from scratch.

If it ain't chocolate it ain't edible is my motto.

But one cake was different. It was called Snackin Cake. I have not seen it for many years. Does anyone remember this popular cake mix? If so where can I get it?

It was made by Betty Crocker.

Wasn't that the mix in the pan and pop in the microwave? I thought that was pretty cool and tasted good too.

I always wanted to make a 3 layer yellow or white cake with chocolate frosting. I like a white sheet cake with white confectionary frosting like the kind found in the bakeries for birthday cakes. I have never seen any quality difference between Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, or Duncan Hines. I like all 3 of those brands. Will use the canned frosting.

Yes. After I wrote this I got curious and started searching. It was discontinued by Betty Crocker. What a shamed. I thought one was not supposed to tamper with success. Guess Betty Crocker has not heard that saying.

The yellow cake with mini chocolate chips was awesome !!!
