We're going to be heading out this weekend to pick up our Thanksgiving turkey and I'm looking to see which brands of turkey you like best. We live in CO, so I'm sure not all brands are available here. We do prefer to eat natural/organic foods, but we're really looking for the best flavored turkey!

Anyone know which brands are good at Whole Foods or Vitamin Cottage?

I am going with the natural all organic turkey from The Fresh Market, which is on the same scale as the organic brand that Whole Foods sell.

I haven't noticed much difference in any of the brands--it's more how you season and cook it--at least for me!

I have pre-ordered a free range, non hormone, antibiotics or chemicals turkey from Grass fed beef, pork, & chicken meat products. Knoxville, TN.

They are dressing them on Tuesday. I will pick up on Wednesday and yum-yum on Thursday!

We're on a strict budget, so our favorite is the cheapest. Got one for .39/lb today - $6.23 for a 16 lb turkey!

That's pretty much what I will be doing. It'll still come out good.

Honeysuckle White was always our favorite until we started buying organic from Whole Foods. I would probably still buy it if my husband wasn't with me when I went to pick one out - he gets anal about that stuff!
