Hello foodies,

My mom and sister used to get a green pepper jelly they liked (can't remember name...maybe Smucker's even?) but can't find now.

We tried one from the supermarket shelf that turned out to be spicy hot and neither of them wants that.

Ideas/sources please for the desired item? I see that Paula Dean offers one for $8 or so (plus S&H of course) and I could try to find out if that one is hot....
I'm in Houston TX area if you know a brick-and-mortar store, or else online sources appreciated! Thanks!

Jalapeno Jelly by Knott's.
I use it every single year, serve a half a jar atop a whole brick of cream cheese, put some fancy crackers around & enjoy.
It is by far, my favorite appetizer to set out at my own Thanksgiving or bring as a yummy surprise for someone else. Always a hit.
I never have trouble finding it & I have done this dish in Louisiana, Illinois, Missouri & now for the second year, Arizona.
Every grocery store I have ever looked for it has had it in stock, even Walmart.
It is not hot, it is sweet, but with a very nice & different flavor.
Good luck with that!

Look again at your superstore or market
but this time , check the ingredients for the hot peppers
I can't think of the name of one that I used to love to buy add to compliment
fried chicken and biscuits, (Hot pepper jelly), but it's not really hot
there's red one also that's not hot
My $.02 cents worth
