I have had the Debbie Meyer green produce bags ever since they were introduced on QVC.
They are now available at HEB and Kohl's (?!) and I think Kroger...I also picked up the 20 bags (10 larger, 10 smaller) for $9.99.

I found they work best on bananas, pears, strawberries, etc. The trick is that the food inside should be as dry as possible, so my red-leaf lettuce needs to be towel dried or 'spun' as much as possible...

We recently got the Magic Bullet. It doesn't work nearly as quickly as they advertise it to be, but it works pretty well. It isn't good at all at making guacamole mix like they say it does. It's really good at making smoothies, quick also. I recommend it to make smoothies, but that's about it. It might be ok to make salsa, but I haven't tried it yet.

I liked the sunglasses called eagle eyes, they were a five cent mess and I concluded at that moment that over 90 % of TV sold items were scams. I've never done it since and don't plan to. It is like that Chef Tony guy wants to be the next Ginsu, I can tell just by looking at his knives on TV I would have the edge completely dull and dented in about 2 hours of serious work.

The "catch" of those items offered for sale on the TV is that they are NOT SOLD in stores...they are the only source for the product. Give me a break. If the item was any good it would be in all the Large dept stores today. The PO box is a giveaway.

I live in Baja and have my mail at San Ysidro Post Office.
Almost everytime would see a couple in their 90's with a large PO bin full of mail. They would stand at a small side counter sorting all the letters (mostly small that I could see). Chances are that they were picking up the mail for a similar operation as that on TV. Never dared ask them. Steve

My grandmother was a QVC addict. When she died a decade ago, I inherited a new, still in the box Ronco Rottiserie.

We use it several times a month, and it works very well for chicken.

Did you inherit her credit card bill too? j/k

I know what you mean, my grandmother is the same way, but she buys stuff and then doesn't want it. Just a few days ago at our Christmas get-together she came out of her bedroom with several of those Buxton bags which she was trying to give away (which nobody wanted). She ended up giving one of them to my 6 year old niece.

I caught a 400 lb blue marlin with my Popeil Pocket Fisherman.

Yep, just reeled him on in!

I also use those green bags. They work really well. My trick is to put a sheet of paper towel inside the bag along with your veggies and change the paper towel as they get damp. Also I wrap a bunch of cilantro in a sheet of paper towel and put in the bag. My veggies last a lot longer now.

I want to buy that new hamburger griddle. The one where it makes 5 snack size burgers and you don't have to flip the burgers.
