We've been to a few of the fondue restaurants and they were good. It took about 2 hours to get through the entire meal. My DH said he was still hungry when we left.
I've only done the chocolate fondue at home and I love, love, love making and eating that one

We never did the chocolate fondue (wasn't "in" back then), just the cheese and the meat in oil. My hubby and i felt the same way - still hungry after about 2 hours of messing around with it. Such is life.

I think fondue is a great way to use up leftover bits of nice cheese that you may have hanging out. They are also nice pots for the chocolate which can be easy and fun. I think the mongolian hotpot style pots are better for doing the broth thing.
