I always like how certain people like to hijack threads with their "tastes". If you don't like IHOP, don't eat there. But honestly, I couldn't care less that you don't like the place.

I must admit that I've never eaten at a IHOP. may have to use the excuse of free pancakes to try them out. I like pancakes w/ fruit added in or on top (real fruit, not nasty sugary preserves and fruit flavored syrup); I wonder if those will be free as well, or just the garden variety pancakes

The free pancakes are a short stack, 3, buttermilk pancakes. They sell for $3.69 or at least that's what was on the online menu. While the pancakes are free, it's a Children's Miracle Network fundraiser. They're asking for a donation.
