I love simple custard.
This recipe is about as simple as it comes for custard and it's so easy.

Blender Custard

3 eggs
2 c. milk
1/2 c. powdered milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Cinnamon or Nutmeg to taste

Place all ingredients except cinnamon/nutmeg in blender container; blend thoroughly. Pour into greased baking dish. Sprinkle with the cinnamon OR nutmeg. Place baking dish in shallow pan in hot water 1 inch deep. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

I don't think this recipe is as sweet as many I've seen and it has a nice flavor. I prefer to use the cinnamon but my girlfriend likes it with the nutmeg. Give them both a try and see which one you like best!

As for my favorite dessert it has to be my homemade red velvet cake. It's a recipe I've had for over 40 years and everybody who tastes it LOVES IT. I also love Russian tea cakes. I make them all year long and they always disappear quickly, lol

In no particular order:

- Chocolate chip cookies, preferably the soft ones
- Chocolate cake
- Cheesecake
- Carrot cake
- French silk pie from Baker's Square (http://bakerssquare.com - broken link)

I guess it's readily apparent that I love chocolate!
