If too sick to cook, I want Hot n' Sour Chinese Soup. If I can cook or have frozen home-made on hand, it's chicken soup like Granny used to make...especially for head colds...

When I'm sick, its liptons noodle soup for me! I add an egg in there too.

However, my favorite soup (which I make all the time and hopefully will not OD on...) is Portuguese bean soup! YUM!

if I'm not feeling so well, my husband will make potato and onion soup, or is it onion and potato soup, I think it might be more onions (he thinks onions help all problems)
but if I was doing it, it would be canned Tomato Basil by Progresso

Do you have a recipe for the Portuguese bean soup. I like things like that (ethnic cooking).

My alltime favorite soup is potato and sausage. I make it every winter and the family loves it.

Have a hunk of ham and want to make pea or bean soup but due to Mr.L's Crohn's-it's a no-no.

Our favorite is home made chicken soup. I do it in the crockpot. start out with legs and thighs, because they have more flavor than just chicken breasts. use chicken broth, onions, celery, shredded carrots, a can of diced tomatoes and season to your liking! cook til chicken is done, remove from bones, put it back in the crockpot. cook noodles and keep them separate. I made some yesterday because my son was home sick!
