Did you guys ever eat just like a hot ham and cheese? I used to make these for something quick to eat. Just regular white bread with ham and cheese, mayo sometimes. I would wet a paper towel and wring it out then wrap the sandwich and stick it in the micro for a little bit.

Good stuff.

I used to fire up the electric fry pan and scramble some eggs in a bowl and pour into the fry pan and cook long enough to be able to cut it in squares and flip to complete the cooking, bake a batch of biscuits and fry sausage patties.

Then I would make them into breakfast sandwiches and wrap them up individually and toss in the freezer for my exdh to heat up for a to go breakfast before work. Yummy.

For a quickie sometimes I toast the bread then put ham and cheese on the toast and nuke for a few seconds to melt the cheese. Less muss and & fuss but not as good either.

Here is how I like mine:

Wheat bread with butter on both sides for frying and on the inside two slices of cheese and a little bit of ham. I put mayo on it as well and it must be eaten with tomato soup and will then be dipped!
pumpernickel or potato bread
lightly toasted, very lightly
buttered on the outsides, a slice of american with some pepperoni or two slices of provolone with some roast beef

also... i like a baked sammich

fresh cuban bread, sliced in half
loaded with ham, turkey, roast beef, shredded mozzarella or provolone or both
cook it on 400 for 10 minutes, turn the broiler on for a couple, add a little bacconaise and some plain yellow mustard.. .YUMMY!
