I watch Hell's Kitchen and week after week these people wait in line to get in, almost always get little to none of their food. They almost always wait a long time and if they are lucky they will get an appetizer or maybe an entree that isn't undercooked. Would you want to be a human guinea pig and go to Hell's Kitchen to eat? Personally I'd wait until the end of the season when they have things more under control if I did.
Also, do you think those people eating can hear all the terrible things Chef Ramsey is saying to those poor chefs?
I think the customers can hear what he says. I think that is why they choose to go. I don't think anyone really goes for the food. I think it is the experience of being able to say they were on the show and got to watch the chef humiliate the staff. Would I go probably not but I do love watching the show.
Here's what I want to know: what's with all the risotto & Wellingtons all the time? What's the point of testing the chefs' palates and whatnot if they're going to serve the same stuff year after year (risotto & Wellingtons THREE YEARS RUNNING, now)?
I'm starting to think Chef Ramsay is an overrated, unimaginative hack.
risotto is short grained rice that is slowly cooked and always stired and stock usually chicken stock is slowly added until it is done. it ends up having a very creamy texture and is absloultly deliscious.
the ting with the wellingtons and the rissotto is that they are hard to cook but more important they they are like considered 5 star foods/dishes.
They should change the menu.
hack or not he has the cash. he is alot better then half those other TV chefs out there
