We have 2 huge fig trees - about 20' square - and I wish you were closer then you could have all you could carry! Man, these things really produce and our neighbors always come and get what they want and we STILL have piles left.
The trees start producing about June-ish through the summer here - southwest GA.

I've always known I had a special calling to Atlanta LOL!

I visited there when I was married a few years ago, and just LOVED the hospitality and how clean everything was!

Yep, that's about right. I am in SW GA, about 150 miles south of you, so ours are a little ahead of yours!

Fingers crossed that this will be a good year for figs and other fruits and veggies since we've had a good amount of rain.

Have to share a funny story.

Parents bought a home about 6 years ago, they had 3 dogs.

Spring hit and dogs could not go outside enough!

Turned out there were 2 fig trees outside and the dogs were eating the figs that dropped.

That was the first time I tried a fig, besides the newtons, when my parents bought the house!

Anyone ever tried to re create a fig newtown?
