We bought two of those big strawberry patch onions today with a flat of strawberries. Hamburgers for dinner with a thick slice of onion and tomato. I'm back on prilosec and have Maalox on standby...

Hi foodies!

Busy day today. My ex and his wife threw a double shower for my daughters and of course DD#1 didn't go but DD#2 & 3 went. They got some real nice things. DD#1 came home from the hospital for a bit and her dad brought the gifts over and she opened them here. It was nice. Baby is doing well, just needs to continue to be monitored for her "episodes". She had 2 during the night last night. Hopefully she will be home by week's end. All in due time...

DD#2 is swelling up and I am telling her she needs to stay healthy. I do not want another emergency c-section situation if we can avoid this.

Made Jambalaya tonight from the Zatarains line. It was tasty enough. I haven't really had time to cook a whole meal in a while. It will come back though!

Have a great night!

YLisa you better not just lurk we enjoy you if you had PBJ everyday girl! WTG on your weight loss.

kelsie Glad your headache went away. Even your "easy" dinner took some time to make when you aren't feeling good.

NMV glad to see you over here as well!

Debsi you are going to be having some good eating lunches this week!

Scotslass glad you found where the dinner table got moved to. Nice looking meals on those plates.

Coastal hope you feel better soon as well. Did your soup help?

NMS your DH too??? Poor guy I bet the Jell-O helped eh?

Lacey thanks for the wedding update food does sound awesome. Safe travel and I will be waving as you come back through the Hoosier state to you both.

elston you stinker you teasing George like that. I would gladly share your version of the shepherd's pie it sounds filling and yummy like my grandma use to make.

Gue I almost put a pot of ham & beans on today but kids said nooooooooooo.

Kats it was too late when I got online today to partake in the BBQ at the Cozy. That's all I would do is think about liver and onions.

Nomad glad you picked up some Prilosec hate it when I run out.

deckdoc did you grow your asparagus?

HG I will be right over any leftovers? How is your doggie doing now?

kimba glad to hear your DD's showers are being done. Hope the new DGD gets to come home soon too.

I didn't get online once today (Sunday) we had rain mixed with snow all day. When it rains I have trouble with my phone lines so I didn't even try to get online. Boy I should have I think I have like 35 threads in my inbox, a few messages and reps. It is going to take me half the night to get caught up on my dial up. My kids must be getting Italian 'throw offs' from this thread because they wanted spaghetti again tonight. So being the accomadating mom that I am we had it with some garlic bread and cottage cheese.

Well, the chicken breasts will have to wait until Mnday dinner. DH decided that he wasn't very hungry and just wanted something 'light'. So I took some 'Steak Fingers' out of the freezer, baked for 10 mins. Had cole slaw, potato salad, and Sweet Tea. Then very thin slices of cake. We dipped the steak fingers in some Jack Daniels honey mustard. Very Good flavour.

Will do cyn's chicken breast recipe tonight, Monday. Thank you Cyn!!! And thank y'all for the warm welcome. Bed time here. Just had a late day..
