Checking in for a quick hello at Cyn's table before bed, and everyone's suppers sound so good tonight.

Our daughter and her boyfriend invited us to join them and his daughter for supper at their place, so we had a fun evening with them. She fixed burgundy-pepper marinated steaks, which were quite good and nicely tender, with green beans on the side, and we contributed a casserole dish of potatoes au gratin for a starch. She made a cake for dessert, too, with fresh strawberries on top. Very, very tasty, and the game of Balderdash we played together after supper made for a laughter-filled conclusion to the evening.

Have a wonderful evening, all, and a great day tomorrow.

Had bratwurst, and a bit of burger, and lots of cucumber dip, and other good stuff.

And beer. I think there was beer there.

Turned out not to be such a great day for swimming (noone did) but it was a lovely misty day in the 70's to sit in the beautiful backyard garden, full of greens and pinks.

Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there.

Good mornng all and Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers and happy Sunday to everyone who is not a mother!! This is not my favorite day since my dear daughter is 3,000 miles away and my son may as well be so I would like to keep as busy as I can today. Now if my arm will allow that. Getting old sure isn't easy! Ha! Just weeding yesterday made it pretty sore!
Not sure yet what dinner will be but hopefully DH will grill.

Good morning foodie friends. After being up most of the night with a first time mama kitty I'm beat. Dinner seems a moot point. I"m still planning on grilling something....Chicken if that is what the wife would like. I just got that craving..

the kitty has six so far....Looks like she may have three more to go....
