I hope all the mamas had a great Mother's Day yesterday!
YLisa, I can't believe we have more rain today either! Blah! Were you all in the path of the freaky storm Friday night? It roared through our area, but thankfully only one funnel cloud touched the ground and there was very little damage.
I am grilling steaks and veggies for dinner. I will marinate the squash and zucchini in italian dressing for about 30 minute before putting them on the grill and then sprinkle them with parmesan cheese. So good!
Mookster -- that is a great way to do your veggies!! We do the same.
I am on a healthy eating plan this week......tonight is vegetable soup and all the fruit I can eat (I've got fresh pineapple, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries)
If it gets a few degrees warmer I can grill without charcoal....I think tonight is going to be pan fried wild caught flounder with rice and tomato gravy. Garden salad on the side. Then slip off into the night with my bottomless glass of green tea. This may change but it is what I want not what I might wind up with....
I seem to be craving fish or seafood... probably the great sunny weather is toying with me... maybe I'll get dinner to go from Clancy's... a nice piece of fish, a salad w/ their fresh made buttermilk ranch dressing, some 'tatoe's or rice.... and I LUV's me their fried oyster appetizer w/ wasabi sauce... to DIE for!!!!!!!!!! Yup... think I just talked myself into that.... tee hee.....
