Leftovers here too. My cilantro lime dressing was really good after I tweaked it a little so I'm looking forward to dinner tonight.

This is the recipe for the dressing. Cilantro-Lime Dressing - All Recipes

I made it exactly as written at first, but it was a little too oily for my taste so I added more lime juice and an extra splash of balsamic. Some of the reviews mention it being too sweet, but I thought it was perfect. You may want to reduce the honey a bit if your prefer less sweetness.

I have reached a common sense conclusion that I really need to use up some leftovers out of the fridge instead of pigging on a pizza...I have one fried chicken breast, ample potato salad, and a whole jar of pickled beets to myself. Not to shabby for survival food.

Hi everyone!

I've been away for two days and soooo much here to catch up with. Busy little foodies!

Anyway, DH and I went to a favorite place today for a late lunch. I had 2 crepes packed with, artichokes, turkey, spinach, red peppers, a little Russian dressing and covered with a little mozzarella cheese. Boy, was that absolutely delicious! So, no cooking dinner tonight.

BTW, Amber, I have made the Mug Cake twice so far....DH loves it! He says it's too good. I do use chips in it.

My mom hooked me up with some homemade dumplings/gyozas so I pan fried them. I then made a quick stir fry out of baby bok choy and served it on top of the dumplings. I used the sauce from the stir fry as a dipping sauce for the dumplings too.

For dessert I will have a Yoplait Lite. I purchased a bunch of them as they were on sale for 55 cents a piece.

Gees, I think I've missed a whole week!!!! No WAY I can go back and read all these pages!!!! lololol We are a chattering bunch of foodies!

Tonight, I've just finished some tortilla scoops with con queso as an appetizer. I think in a few hours I'll zip over to Clancy's and get take out... some fish again like I did last time... and man, do I LOVE their fried oyster appetizer with wasabi sauce and seaweed salad. Yup, I've talked myself into THAT again!!! NO problem!!!!

George... I have a nasty neighbor too. Years ago, his son would be outside at 7 a.m. whappin' a basketball on the street for about a half hour before the bus came every morning. I never called the police to complain although it drove me bonkers (and all the other neighbors too)! However, when my dogs barked more than 4-5 times in a row, he called the PD on me!!! Another neighbors daughters BF who is about 6' and 240 lbs. finally told him we all loathe him and think he's an a-hole (to steal a phrase used today lol), and if he didn't stop putting dog turds and such in our mailboxes, he was going to pound the turd right out of him!!!!!! No one has had a problem with him in the 4 years since that message was delivered face to face!!!!!!!!

Mind you, we all live in the woods surrounded by 800 acres of conservation woods... it isn't like it's suburbia.... geesh...
