I'm having to dig deep into my pantry this week and so tomorrow's dinner will be pigs in a blanket. What sides would YOU make to go w/ it?

I like the baked beans idea. As for slaw, hold the mayo on mine

To add some vitamins: a salad or some carrot sticks and other such with a dip.

Try to find some thing that isn't the same color... no plate should have all the same colors on it... so maybe try black beans instead of pinto... and go for broccoli or green beans instead of corn or carrots... the more color variety that is on the plate the more appetizing it will appear!

Yum, pigs in a blanket! I usually have baked beans as a side with them or some sort of cooked/steamed vegetable.

Mashed potatoes shaped like a volcano with whole kernel corn piled inside. Then I pour juice from the stuffed cabbage on top. Don't forget the buttered Italian bread.
