Time-consuming.

I hate chopping up broccoli and cauliflower. Little veggie crumbs all over the cutting board!

Besides those, though, I love chopping things. It's my favorite part of cooking a meal.

Branson: I found a trick that works very well with those hard boiled eggs. After draining them I put them in very cold water with lots of ice. It cools them down quickly and the peels come right off without any trouble.

I crack the shell and then put the egg back into the cold water- i think it helps shrink/weaken the membrane that keeps the shell stuck on to the white. ??

Drip pans? I never clean them. They cost about a quarter apiece at the Dollar store. I replace them when visitors complain.

Same with shower curtains. When they get grungy enough that visitors complain, I throw it away and buy a new one for 3.98.

People mop the floor? I like to slop some cleaner on the floor, pull some tube socks over my keds and crank up the music - it helps if you have a couple of friends who'll roll around on the floor to soak up the excess cleaner.

Frankly, I just don't do it very often.

At some point, something will have boiled over and smell and I'll have to yank them all out, douse them with Comet, and go to town.

But I absolutely hate doing it.

Next is probably mopping the floor. Can't stand that either.

I also don't really like cleaning the sink drain either.

I could wipe the counters down all day, though! (And do, actually)
