I think you are talking about my favorite cereal by kelloggs - "cracklin oat bran"? It is in a blue box, is almost rectangular in shape with a hole in the center - and crazy expensive - but oh my, sometimes I just got to have it!
When I was a kid: liked the marshmallow cereals like Lucky Charms, and the triple (tooth decay) crown of Count Chocula, BooBerry, and Frankenberry (one of my brother's favorites)
Now I appreciate cereal more for nutrition: Rice Chex, Cornflakes, Mini-wheats, Raisin Bran.
Captain Crunch (no berries) Cocoa Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and the old standby Frosted Flakes
