Okay, now I'm switching over to jicama. Your description is accurate, but the pictures of jicama don't look like the fruit is very big. Can anyone compare it to anything in size?

The jicamas I see at the grocery store are about the size of a grapefruit or a small canteloupe.

I think you had jicama in your salad. I also think you had fly larvae, caterpillers, and maybe ant in there, too.

Give the restaurant a call and ask.

Jicama is so refreshing. Love it cut into thick 'french-fry' slices and tossed with fresh lime. Best appetizer!
