I was away all afternoon so sorry for the late response.
I think I misunderstood, my fiance drank milk with dinner like everyone else.
But polling people I'm surprised to hear how many did this. I called my mom today and told her about the drinking milk with every meal and she admitted she never heard of that. I definitely think its cultural and racial which is probably why 75% of blacks are lactose-intolerant (luckily I'm not cause I do drink it) and maybe that is from a lack of drinking it and not being taught to drink it.
But I could never imagine drinking it with regular meals. Like Chinese food and pasta? Wow.
Growing up I couldn't imagine NOT having milk with pizza or pasta! seriously.... it was a must for me.... it just went together.... I liked it.... still do....
I drank quite a bit of milk as a kid, but not at every meal. If it wasn't milk at meal time than it was usually some kind of juice or tea and never soda. As an adult I probably drink two glasses of milk every day, I love milk. Nothing better than an ice cold glass of cow juice.
I had milk with every meal as a kid. That's just what people used to do!
Kids now days drink soda with every meal...
