Lol! You're the only other person besides my mother I've heard say this..
"Sea Spiders!! I'm not eating that!"
And this was a woman who would eat anything, from chicken feet to head cheese.

I like most everything except parsnips and brussell sprouts. I keep trying with them but, it's usually a no go......

I was a picky eater as a kid but now will eat pretty much anything. If it doesn't move, I'll eat it......lol.

I still don't eat Miracle Whip and not too much mayo. I'm from the south, I love my fruits and vegetables.

Some very intersting posts on this thread.

When I think of liver eaters the first thing that comes to mind is ....Jeffrey Dahmer!
Forget the baked beans too.

Totally agree - and very apt description lol.

When I was young, I decided I wanted to try pease pudding because of the nursery rhyme so mum made it for me - shudder.

I'm quite adventurous otherwise although I don't really like offal and don't really like herring/kippers.

wow, some people seem to have a lot of things they didn't like and still don't: other people just have a few: I guess I am in the last group:

I don't like okra (but am not sure I had it as a kid) I don't like Hamony, (spelling) and I don't like tongue. Oh, I have never liked Pimento Cheese and I know most people do like it.

Cream of wheat. (That stuff always made me feel like I was going to puke!)

Cauliflower. (But I allow for the possibility that my wife, the greatest cook I have ever known, could find some way to make cauliflower taste good to me. She managed to do that with broccoli, which is why broccoli is not on this list!)

Fake syrup. (Log Cabin, Aunt Jemima, Mrs. Butterworth... this one's for y'all!)

Mushrooms. (However, I have been increasingly able to tolerate them in certain foods, such as spaghetti and cream of mushroom soup, as I age.)

Corned beef. (What in the heck is the point of this? It tastes like beef mixed with lots of vinegar and looks like fresh roadkill! Whatever happened to a simple hamburger?)

Milk. (Yes, milk. To this day, I can't drink the stuff. I can do vanilla milk, and some chocolate milk... but not straight milk. Yuck.)

Cauliflower and Broccoli. Steamed, fried, with cheese, in dishes - no no no!

I told my children I would not make them eat anything I didn't like. Key word: make, I still encourage them to try everything!

There's a lot of stuff I eat that my husband thinks is disgusting
