This thread made me laugh! And I have to look up Scrapple.

I hate peanut butter (can't stand to smell it!), green peas and lima beans, and brussels sprouts. Anything else is fair game.

Now see, I enjoy black licorice (mmmm Good'n' Plenty!) however, even the smell of red licorice about makes me ill. DH loves red licorice and likes it in the car for long drives. For years, I tried to be a good wife and purchase it when we were driving the 15 hours back to Iowa to visit family. After 20 years, naahhh. I buy pretzels instead! Poor guy.

organ meats, except liver [occasionally]
lima beans
cabbage [raw or steamed is okay, cooked = blecch

actually, there are plenty of veggies that i like raw or steamed - i.e., barely cooked - but can't stand thoroughly cooked; carrots, zucchini, celery, spinach, etc.

funny that no one has mentioned spinach yet but plenty of people hate brussels sprouts.

You're missing out!!!! I love the taste of durian...the smell, not so much.

I hate bell peppers with a passion and generally will not eat olives or pickles. I also cannot stand blue cheese.

OK - there are some pretty awful foods listed here, but I keep thinking to myself "Is organ meat, brussel sprouts, tequila, spoiled shark...worse than mayonnaise?" and the answer keeps coming up NO, NO, NO!!!

I'll take everyone's Cilantro as I love it so much ! I eat salads which are half lettuce and half cilantro so please hand it over and I'll make good use of it...

I'll also have the Mussels, Fish, Sushi, Scallops etc... which some people don't like and will swap all my sweet items instead ! Is anyone willing to trade ?

I hate (in order of disgustingness):

mushrooms
pumpkin
eggplant
brussel sprouts
swiss cheese
oyster
brocolli
cauliflower
asparagus
zuchinni
cherry
parsnip
beans
cabbage
carrot
sushi

As for drinks...

Beer! Man it's feral. One of the most overrated items in the universe I think.
I hate the taste of straight spirits aswell, but those don't even come close to beer....

This thread is a fun read.
I always thought scrapple was a Canadian thing, since my French Canadian grandmother made it.

I really can't think of anything I hate. I haven't had organ meat in a long time, but I use to love liver
smothered in onions.

I love every kind of fruit and vegetable and constantly scratch my head as to why my now grown sons are so picky, when as kids, they ate everything. I cut open a beautiful papaya now, and they run for the hills....weirdos

When my boys were kids, I would take them to Lums almost every week. They loved the kids scallop dinner. My oldest son, in his 20's, loathes almost anything from the ocean, I reminded him that he happily ate gallons of sea scallops as a kid. He looked at me with a straight face, and said, "That was child abuse." Umm ok ...lol

To brussel sprout haters, try them sprinkled with vinegar. I love any cooked cabbage with vinegar

Or with brussels sprouts brown them in brown butter, pepper and parm cheese.
