I'm still experimenting with risotto. Tonight's batch had bacon, shrimp, parmesan and asiago cheese, onion, fresh chopped parsley, and fresh chopped chives. I steamed up some green beans (my ol' standby!) and drank a glass of white wine. It was fabulous! Can't wait for lunch tomorrow. Leftovers!

SKBS - Will do!

I finally decided to put the turkey breast in the crockpot, season it well and just see! LOL (Normally I bake it like I do a whole turkey in the oven.) And have something else (leftovers) for dinner tonight. Now I have to decide if I feel like making dressing to go with the turkey, and/or other sides.

My teenage daughter ended up assembling the sushi rolls for us tonight - yum! She wants me to go see Orphan with her... I don't like horror movies! Maybe I can make a deal - if I go see that, she'll go see Julie and Julia with me. ;-)

Lobster shells ... I think I read or saw on the Food Network that you can freeze them as well as shrimp shells, fish bones, etc. and when you have enough, boil them with the correct veggies and seasoning to make a good fish stock?

That sounds like something my son would definately do.....he does that with the shrimp shells.....after a quick roast or toss in his wok to intensify their flavor.

When we are done with a lobster....most of the shells have been gnawed on and chewed on...and not really suitable for re-use.. We take each little leg and extract any flavor with our teeth!
