I'm sick of casseroles. Every time I go to a potluck style dinner there are tons of casseroles. The only thing I can think of is that they are usually rather easy to make and the people can't cook. Everyone seems to have a casserole recipe or two that they can make.
The latest casserole I ate had cheese-it crackers on top, it was horrible.
Anybody else hate these things? Yeah, I know there are some good casseroles, but you'll rarely find them at your family, friends, etc potluck!

I am in complete agreement! I don't eat cheese, sour cream, tuna, mayonnaise, pork...so truly, no casseroles please!!!
If it has cream of anything in it-avoid it like the plague lol! Or crushed up stuff that resembles crackers and breakfast cereals. Run even faster if it is sprinkled with fake fried onions. ;-)

It's a one pot recipe. You mix it together, stick it in the oven, and forget about it for an hour. That's what makes them nice for those with limited kitchen time, like me.
I love casseroles - and they're so easy to reheat.
