I forgot to mention; on Catalina Island, in the Avalon Arcade, they have a BBQ chicken pizza that is to-die-for! Thin crispy crust, BBQ sauce, diced BBQ chicken, peppers and onions. WooBoy! I have to give a shout-out to Valentino's Pizza in Los Alamitos, CA. Best pizza in town. After I found that place, I never went anywhere else for 25 years.

I love a NYC style pizza with pepperoni. Boring, but so good.

Locally owned pizza restaurant
https://deanospizza.com/
Click the link for specialty pizzas. My favorite is Ashley’s Guiltless. I bought it at first because it was healthy. I bought it again because it was delicious. Their other specialty pizzas are also delicious with flavors unique in the pizza world. Anyone can make a pepperoni, cheese, or combination pizza. To separate themselves from Dominos and Pizza Hut, our local pizza restaurants offer unique flavors not found at the large chain restaurants. When I was stationed in Gaeta Italy one of my favorite local pizzas was a simple prosciutto ham and cheese pizza.
