You HAVE to see what he does w/ fast food. He takes the meal and, without adding anything other than water, makes it into a fancy meal. I want to try some of these!! Apparently, some publisher from Harper Collins saw his website and has offered him a book deal!

Well

It is interesting and different...

But one of the best points of eating actual kitchen/chef made food is the ingredient list.

Here is what is in a BK hash brown:
Potatoes, soybean oil, dehydrated potato flakes (potatoes, mono and diglycerides, sodium acid pyrophosphate, citric acid), salt, corn flour, enriched wheat flour (wheat flour, niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid),natural flavoring, disodium dihydrogen pyrophosphate (to promote color retention), dextrose. contains: wheat.

Ya know what is in MY hash browns? Potatoes, olive oil, spices.

It's interesting because of what he does w/ the fast food. It states right there on the website that yeah, it's still not good for you. I don't know of anyone who eats fast food for the health benefits. But then, that has nothing do w/ this thread. That would probably be another thread that you might want to start. I swear, you and I... I feel like the Honeymooners, lol.

Hehehehe,

No, it IS really neat.

Gosh, it reminds me of some staged "reality" show I saw years ago, cant place it, but someone purchased McDs food and a chef plated it for a party...

It is neat, but not appetizing per se.

And I know, you and I, sheesh

shhh! don't tell people we're friends though.

Anyway, I think the show was Top Chef. I think they had to plate either fast food or from a vending machine.

Oh, this is amusing. I have to wonder what sparked this idea: pot, boredom, a little of both. The sushi one is really a hoot.
