I love Blue Bell ice cream It's still a true half-gallon, is it not?
I love a few other ice creams, too. But I can't eat any 'cause of the dang diabetes.

OOH, my hubby loves Blue Bell BUttered Pecan and like you we tried Breyer's and had to toss it. In our part of the Midwest, Blue Bell is non-existent in the grocery stores but on our last meal at Cracker Barrel they touted Blue Bell ice cream on their menu dessert item, hmmm?

I like to balance quality and value. I buy Blue Bell when it goes on sale, for usually $3.50 1/2 gallon. We like the Coffee flavor, but have occasionally tried others.

Publix brand is very good. We like the Dulche de Leche. During the Christmas holidays, they go crazy with new flavors. I can find it on sale at $3.00 for 1/2 gallon.

I never buy Bryers. For one thing, they short change the 1/2 gallon but charge more. And I think they pump it with air. It tastes weird to me.

Once in a Blue Moon I'll pick up Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia for one of my sons, but it has to be a good sale. And I had to try Jimmy Fallon's flavor. It had chocolate covered potato chips.

I get excited about Blue Bell's Flavors, but am usually disappointed when I get home. A lot of them I did not think were that great, especially for the price.

I do really love that new Krazy Kookie Dough one though... WOW is that good!

Blue Bell good as any better than most imo... Our local grocer brand (H.E.B.) is very good, it might be Blue Bell.

We miss H.E.B., especially Central Market.

Blue Bell is my favorite brand. I'm not much for fancy flavors though. My favorite flavors are Dutch Chocolate, Vanilla, and the Great Divide which combines the two flavors.

The only problem I have with Blue Bell is that I usually go through a half gallon in a day or two. It's that good.
