V.A. Doc's are checking on me and are still confused,,,,,

I'm eating lots of protein, every two hours I'm stuffing fruit, bananas avocados, peas and beans and pasta down along with 9 cans of tuna every day. I try to stay away from red meat now cause the digestion is pretty rough. Pork, chicken, fish I'm OK with.

I need to find some healthy fatty food to get my weight back up, I mean fer gawds sake, Red weighs in at ,,,,, dang, almost shot myself in the foot there, BUT if I lose, say, twenty more pounds I'll be where she's at.

Please no fried food. I don't and won't eat deep fried anything.

I also do a Met Rx shake in the morning and eves. And Ice Cream! Oh my gawd I almost forgot how good it is. I'm wolfing it down a quart at a time!

Been eating like this for the last coupla days and only see small increments in weight gain.

Any ideas?
Have they tested you for a bacterial digestive tract infection? Like a bug got into your gut through the water, etc. over there?

Well.

Getting ready to go in and see the Doc.

Bad news is I'm down to 135lbs.

Losing instead of gaining. Last night was bad. About 10 minutes after a meal I felt like I have never felt in my life. Got dizzy, dropped to one knee and lost all my dinner. Head was swimming one way, body the other. Followed by chills and sweat.

And yeah, now I'm starting to worry.

So, hi ho, hi ho it's off to the Doc I go.

We'll get it figured out.

Thanks for the words, y'all.

I was just about to say the same thing. Lay off the tuna, dude.

Peanut Butter. Salmon. (You can find it canned, too, if you don't want to buy it fresh or frozen. It's good on the grill, though!!)

Drink whole milk.

Make ice cream and peanut butter shakes in the blender (perfect for summer time!).

Bread... deli meat. Deli meat (like sliced ham or roast beef) is pretty fattening.

Eggs. Omelets. With toast and butter! French toast.

Biscuits with gravy.

And it wouldn't be a bad idea to get tested for parasites (like tapeworm or pinworms or others...)

Coconut milk - very fattening. It's often used in curries...

Thanks for the update debey - I've come on periodically to check up. I was hoping there would be an update after today's doctor visit....He'll be in my prayers - hopefully they discover what has caused such a drastic weight loss and get him on the mend.....

Has anyone heard anything about him? I hope he's ok. I posted earlier without reading the rest of the posts... I wonder if it was mercury poisoning?
