I am going through a taste testing phase to find the best tasting coconut water for me...any other coconut water enthusiasts out here with recommendations? I drink it every day so need to buy in bulk to minimize cost. I have tried Pure Naked, too bland for me, currently testing Taste Nirvana and did not like initially but it has grown on me. Just got Coco Life and that's fairly good. So let me hear the good the bad and the ugly.

I usually buy coconut water from the ethinc stores. Mexican stores usually sell it. I don't know the exact brand names, but I think all of em are usually pretty good.

Look at the ingredients - I have found that several of the Coconut Water brands add sugar. I prefer to just buy the green coconuts and open them - that way I can also eat the immature coconut flesh which is really good.

A good, fresh coconut will have the jelly inside. THAT is the part you really want.

Anyone looking for coconut water with lots of flavor isn't looking for real coconut water. This stuff, in it's natural state, is pretty bland...it's water for goodness sake. Yes it has flavor, but not that much.

In Trinidad, coconut water is the mixer of choice when drinking whiskey.

A good commercial coconut water should have an ingredient list that says: Coconut
