Therein lies the problem! You have to know someone who knows where they grow wild, which is only in New England at a certain time of year. Don't buy the canned, they're awful.

Good chicken-fried steak, tomatoes, and sweet-tea from the south. Nothing better, and none here in Montana

A very long list on my "final feast" if there ever was one :

Scallops with the coral still attached and a lemon beurre blanc
Crab ( Spider preferably but brown is lovely too)
Langoustines ( Giant King Prawns) served with fresh brown bread and homemade mayo
Moules Farcies ( Mussels with garlic breadcrumbs)
Sushi and Sashimi
Fillet Steak ( Served very "blue"-ie virtually raw served with wild mushrooms and Bearnaise sauce or red wine sauce
Steak tartare
Jugged Hare
Rabbit with mustard sauce
Cassoulet
Wild boar stew in red wine
Most Fish , grilled served simply with a lemon beurre blanc
Fresh mackerel if I had a slave to pick out all the bones ( I adore the taste but the bones get in the way so I hardly ever eat it)
Morrocan tagine of chicken with preserved lemons and couscous and slow cooked vegetables
A "real" hamburger served very rare with melted Emmental, tomatoes, lettuce and good homemade garlic mayonnaise, served with crispy triple fried French fries
Cheeses ( unpasteurised of course)
Duck breast served very rare with slow cooked lentils and bacon
Ceviche ( marinated raw seafood)
Most Japanese food
Very ,very dark chocolate
Very,very dark chocolate mousse
Grand Marnier souffle (Absolute heaven, it would definitely have to be on my final feast list )
Amaretto creme brulee
Pistachio and Amaretto ice cream
Cranachan ( toasted oats, raspberries and cream with a bit of whisky but as I loathe the taste of whisky replace with Amaretto )
Fresh raspberry and banana smoothie
Real Mexican food ( most of it)
Real Italian food

Yumm.............................I now feel so hungry !

Mexican food is my all-time favorite.

But I also love pizza, chicken strips, Salmon patties, and spinach omelettes.
