Before going into any type of business a person needs to do some research on the area and possible existing competition.

Would be like opening a gas station at an intersection with three others already there.

Any person that has to ask for an opinion on a open forum should not be in any type of business period.

People with money to invest generally have the smarts and knowledge of a business they have in mind...with or without competition in a specific area. NO need to ask strangers.

What's a "fish house"? You mean a restaurant that specializes in sea-food? That can be fast-food, sit-down popular, or sit-down high-class. Which do you have in mind? Do you know anything about such a business? Ever worked in one? Do you intend to run it yourself, or just invest in it and hire management, or get a chain franchise? Would you buy an existing business, bur build from the ground up?

If you are wanting to start a fish house I would really recommend you read Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential. Its a good picture of what goes on in the kitchen. Pay close attention to parts where he expounds on failure of establishments.

But research research research is of utmost importance.
