Last night had seafood crab cakes and chimmirie Peruvian rice from Trader Joe. Delish!

Tonight - after a lunch of a BLT and chips, I'm having 4 cheese peanut butter crackers and two Twinkies. Healthy!

Well was going to make dinner, but forgot to pull the shrimp out of the freezer, so it turned into a whatever you can put together.

The bag of Costco frozen shrimp says NOT to thaw shrimp by running under cold water, but I've done it many times that way with no ill effects.

Last night's dinner was Chicken Stir-fry: chicken thigh meat, broccoli, 1 carrot, 2 celery, garlic sauced in a spoonful each of oyster sauce, black bean sauce, and ponzu.

Tonight I think I'll make a cabbage-potato-leek soup I found on the internet, and grilled sourdough, avocado, and cheddar sandwiches.

Trying something new tonight, brisket. I have never made one before so this will be a challenge for me. I hope everyone has a great day.

I'm not a big crock pot person, but today I have a crock pot full of cubed beef, onion, celery, tomatoes, rutabaga, carrots and potatoes bubbling away. Couldn't be bad, right?
I'll probably make some corn bread later.
