Those are my favorite foods too -- except I wouldn't eat RAW onions or asparagus. Everybody adores asparagus except ME so that can't be a disliked food. How can anyone NOT like beets?
I can't wait until the winter squash are out.
One thing I love that some other people hate is turnip/rutabaga.

What most people hate, but I love:
1. Brussell sprouts (my husband got me into that 14 years ago)
2. Spinach
3. Broccoli
4. Green beans
5. Cabbage
6. Salads (some people won't eat salads. Very true!).
7. Catfish
8. Cottage cheese
9. O'Doul's (non-alcohol beer. Most people hate it, but I like it. And it doesn't get me drunk either. And only 75 calories!).
Brussel Sprouts
Beetroot
Parsnips
Swedes
Lentils ( especially Puy Lentils-my favourite)
Spinach ( raw not cooked though)
Steak Tartare
Carpaccio

Strong cheeses including Goat and Ewe's milk ones and especially blue cheeses like Roquefort, Gorgonzola and Stilton

Anchovies ( the real thing not the shrivelled over salted ones you get on Pizzas)
Capers
Sardines
Haggis
Liver
Rollmops
Very dark and bitter chocolate
Pretty much all seafood
