Lemon Sticks - a whole lemon with a peppermint stick stuck in the end where you slurp up the sour lemon through the sweet peppermint - yum!
Lemon Sticks: Families can make this classic Baltimore treat (http://www.examiner.com/x-2123-Baltimore-Family-Entertainment-Examiner~y2009m5d2-lemon - broken link)
I remember having something like that at a fair in Pennsylvania. Except it was a sweet lemon candy stick (or just a sugar stick), so when you sucked it up it tasted like lemonade

I saw those when I was looking for the link to the peppermint lemon thing. They look good, too! Baltimore likes to claim to be the originators of the Lemon Stick and trace it back to 1911 - the first year of the annual Flower Mart. But evidently they go back a little further than that - 18th century London.
Ok, I am wrapping my mind around it. Looks good but I have not ever seen that at any fest. Wouldn't mind making it at home.
