Nothing wrong with being 'different'.
Ive made tuna casserole, cornish game hens and chili dogs before (not all at the same time, of course).

I didn't put any up this year, but poke salad was a tradition at my grandmothers table.

I wouldn't mind having lasagna....

or my mom's pasta cabanara...or so we've named it. Bacon, cream cheese, milk, noodles, and spinach. Best stuff ever!

Not something I'd have every year, but I've had pizza for Thanksgiving before.

This year--probably some ramen soup.

Yes, my heritage is half Ukrainian.

I actually managed to make some a month or two ago, so I'll try your suggestion the next time I want to destroy the kitchen (They're a bit messy.). Definitely a weekend thing.

For the last 15 years, I've been in a hotel on Thanksgiving weekend.

I always order the biggest cheeseburger and fries they have on the menu, since it's something I don't normally eat.

I cook a turkey the next weekend so I have leftovers :-)
