Barbequed swordfish with cucumber lime salsa. Hot day here in Perth - around the century mark in your language - so I don't want to heat up the house cooking inside.

I have various greens in the fridge so I'll probably toss up a light salad to serve with the fish.

And a nice rosé wine will go good with that.

For dessert, I've got the ingredients for a chocolate ice-cream in the fridge. Just have to put it in the ice-cream machine closer to dinner time.

I just got finished making the prep for some Chicken Kiev. Pounded out the chicken breasts so they were flattened, seasoned them with a little salt and pepper, and filled them with a mixture of chopped garlic and green onion. Laid some butter inside, folded the edges up, and coated the chicken with flour, egg, and breadcrumbs. It has to chill in the fridge for the remainder of the day, and I'll cook it up later with some veggies on the side. This is my first attempt at this recipe so keep your fingers crossed!

We are snowed in so it's Pappardelle and gravy with meatballs, pork chops, and hot Italian sausage, garlic bread, and salad.
