This was a good dinner, Ham, two types of bread, greens, rice, black eyed peas, fruit salad, baked pears, pound cake, ice cream, and ginger cookies. tea to drink.

I changed some things around. Potato soup and waldorf salad. Both were so good. Later some lime sherbert and Christmas cookies.

For our New Year's Day dinner, had pork ribs and sauerkraut in the crockpot. Hot cider mixed with other fruit juices = our family version of wassail.

Farfalle pasta with peas, smoked turkey sausage, chicken, and a white wine garlic cream sauce that I made. It was pretty good. Hubby liked it so that makes me happy. This is almost exactly like a dish I would always order when we went to the Cheesecake Factory fairly regularly...before funds were so limited for this college student & her hubby!!
