Lentil and Bacon soup with croutons, then Pasta with Coriander ( cilantro) Pesto. Apple and Lackberry Pie for dinner ( store-bought - not really a pie person but Hubby loves it) and custard .
Today, I'm preparing old-fashioned (as I call them) hamburgers. I'm going to fry (Yes, I know it's not good for my husband and me, but I'm going to, anyway.) the meat and cook the onions on his the way he likes. (I don't like onions.) We're going to have all "the fixins" like lettuce, tomato, pickles, and cheese. For dessert, we'll be having Sour Cream Bundt Cake that I'm making today, too. (In fact, the butter is probably softened enough by now for me to get started on the cake, so I'd better get busy.)
my cake fell apart...I didn't know if I had enough frosting to put it in the middle too, so I just dabbed a bit in the middle to get the layers to stick together, but didn't cover the entire layer.
I just barely had enough frosting to frost the top and sides.
