I found out I love dried garlic cloves! One of our stores has lots of dried vegetables ("chips"), I like most of them, esp the okra, green beans and carrot, but the garlic are the best! They have a little oil and salt for flavor, and I could eat them like popcorn

My other new thing is mixing orange koolaid with orange juice, about 60/40. Tastes like an Orange Julius
I would have to say Sushi and Sashimi. Not only the regular sushi like California Rolls and Spicy Tuna but weird looking Dragon and Crab Rolls with like Cucumber or Avocado and other stuff coming out of it and straight up raw Sashimi

Now we can go eat Sushi anytime and I won't sit there and starve or make faces the entire time....................Ha Ha Ha

I made cookies using boxed cake mix, oil & eggs. They're so easy to make and addictive!

I am a big fan of tempura but have never had that one , that sounds gorgeous... I buy Artichoke Hearts from the Deli and they are so , so delicious with some Artisan breads and Sun-Blushed Tomatoes. I can quite happily make a dinner of simply that.

I don't know if it is the best new thing I have tried this year but it is the only one that comes to my mind at the moment.

A few weeks ago I made Chirimoya Sorbet and it was really nice.

As I don't know if everybody knows what a chirimoya is here are some pictures
