I bought some Gouda on the spur of the moment. Any fans of it?

And how do you usually eat your cheese? with a certain fruit? wine? just plain?

I have to pick one?

Hmmm Havarti or Bleu. That's two. Ah well.

I'll eat them plain, on sandwiches, w/ fruit, steak, wine, whatever.

Actually, I like almost all cheeses.

Gouda is fine in a bland kind of way.

Favourite is probably a good flavoured Cheddar or a blue cheese called Dorset Vinny.

I found American cheeses bland and plastic like- await the flak!

I was going to say Gouda is my favorite! Partly because of the name though.

I usually just eat it plain, or with crackers, or on a sandwich. I'd like it with fruit (grapes is good) but don't usually get around to being that fancy.

Simple plain American Cheese. Not the cheap cheese product. It makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches.

Sharp or extra sharp cheddar. Depends on use of course.

So many cheeses so little time!

I couldn't name a favorite - it depends on the situation. Haven't met too many cheeses I didn't like (at least for something)....
