We add different stuff... depending on what we have on hand and our mood... slivered almonds, maple syrup, honey, sunflower seeds, pecans, jam or fruit, agave, bit of milk, dried cranberries, banana slices, chocolate chips...

Just depends. Sometimes we just eat it plain or slather it on toast. It's really good with cinnamon toast or toasted cinnamon bread!

We eat both rolled (old fashioned) oats as well as oat groats and steel-cut. We like it all. We'll even do the instant stuff when we're camping. I like to use apple juice instead of water sometimes to make oatmeal. Yum.

Brown sugar and agave nectar - A great combination.

If I run out of those two, maple syrup works.

Oatmeal is underrated.

Honey and maple syrup
maple syrup a tad of brown sugar a tad
and a lot of the time my favorite cold cerael is added to the oatmeal. There is fruit and nuts added, so the oatmeal taste so good.

At the very least -- milk, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. I really like half and half or cream a little better than milk, but the milk will do. Fruit's good, fresh or dried, and sometimes nuts. The extras depend on what is in the fridge and cabinet.

I eat my oatmeal usually with banana and kiwi slices, with cinnamon and a bit of milk. Sometimes if we have fresh Canadian maple syrup than a spoon of that.

I've been buying oatmeal at Au Bon Pain because it's near my office. They have self-serve oatmeal in their soup urns in the morning. One has cinnamon and apple in it, but I don't really like theirs.

The other is plain, but they offer raisins, almonds, chocolate chips, craisins, maple syrup, and cinnamon to put in yourself. I'm kind of liking the craisin-almond combo with a few shakes of cinnamon. Then I top it off with a little half and half.
